Rosato Terre di Chieti IGT

Cherry red in colour with brilliant violet hues, Rosato Terre di Chieti IGT offers intense fruity aromas, delicate floral notes and nuances of banana and black cherry. With a good structure, it is soft, fresh and balanced on the palate.

Food and wine pairings
Excellent as an aperitif and perfect with pizza, it is decidedly adaptable in its food pairings. It goes well with both white meats and fish, but is unbeatable with fish soup, tripe, fresh cheeses and grilled vegetables.

Production area

In the heart of the province of Chieti in Abruzzo, between the Maiella National Park and the Adriatic Sea.


Hilly, with an average altitude of 230 metres above sea level, with mostly calcareous clay soil.

Selling period

January/February, the year after harvest.

Vinification and aging

Soft pressing and fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks

Sensory characteristics

Cherry red with bright purple tinges. An intense fruity aroma, delicate floral notes and nuances of banana and black cherry. It is full-bodied, smooth, fresh and balanced.

Food and wine pairings

Cold cuts, pizza, white meat, grilled vegetables, fish soup, tripe, fresh cheese. Excellent as aperitif.
